We have bad news for users of the Samsung Galaxy SII (Vodafone). Finally update to Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) not will be released during the day as it was announced officially, they have had problems and they have to delay their plans.

This morning Samsung has been in contact with Vodafone to tell them that they will not be able to launch the update in today and give new dates. Now, if not passes nothing back, the update via Samsung KIES tomorrow will be day 13, While the update via OTA will be delayed until April 17.

This time the release Vodafone UK has done and Vodafone Spain in their respective official forums, so there is no doubt that the update will also come to the Samsung Galaxy SII (Vodafone) from here. Let us hope that there are no more problems from last time and this morning already available update to Ice Cream Sandwich from the Samsung KIES application.

Update: It seems that Vodafone model would not be the only one in upgrading to the latest version of Android, our reader yomiguy tells us in the comments to yesterday Movistar in his official Forum announced that its Samsung Galaxy SII (Movistar) updated this week to Ice Cream Sandwich.
