How to Write a Motivation Letter

Although the majority of candidates skip this step, send a motivation letter along with all the applications for jobs can make all the difference. Learn how to compose a letter of motivation and take advantage of the advantage that this document can provide you with.

Today, the overwhelming majority of applications for employment are delivered over the Internet, however the same applications delivered digitally must be accompanied by a motivation letter.

1. Why should you write a letter of motivation

A motivation letter should accompany your resume and serves to demonstrate why if you are applying for a particular job. So when you write a letter of motivation is to differentiate themselves from other candidates in a positive way.

This document allows the person that is analysing the applications better understand what are the reasons that are lead to compete for the job.

In the letter of motivation should include the following information:

So that your letter of motivation to be efficient, should not worry-if only in the present, but must above all underline the reasons that are lead to apply for that job opportunity.

Do not re-repeat everything that already is in your resume. The repetition of information can make the reading of your letter boring and this can turn against you.

Finally, try to be original and always adapt your letter to each application.
