If the photo on the iPhone display fits perfectly into the environment, the French photographer François Dourlen has his finger in the game most likely. CURVED presents a selection of his best paintings.
There is a yellow trash to the minion, a dancer lolls on a broom, Mario drives Kart at the county fair, or Bruce Willis is grabbed from the microwave oven. For two years, the photographer François Dourlen brings the image on the screen of his iPhone with the surroundings. During this time many elaborate emerged montages, of which we present you here is just a small selection.
François Dourlen started in March 2013 with historic pictures on his iPhone display, has photographed displays of its smartphones on which they are involved to their place of origin in the current environment. Shortly thereafter, followed by first series, in which he added traffic signs or for famous movie scenes has sought and found new environments. Until today he has integrated also however analog and no iPhone – Polaroids -, Comic characters and series in new environments.
