Intel has just announced a 7-inch tablet Studybook, dedicated to students. The latter will join the product line, the same company, called “Classmate” and intended for use in schools.
The Intel project is to dock the tablet in American schools and beyond. The design is perfect for this type of use, small, light, easy to handle and, above all, durable. The screen of 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixel resolution offers. The tablet weighs just 525 grams and, thanks to a rubber reinforcement, can withstand falls up to 70 cm. Rubber reinforcement also protects the outputs: output for USB 2.0, HDMI, headphone jack and microSD slot and SIM. The device will have 1 GB of Ram and the internal memory can vary, depending on the needs of the school, from 4 to 32 GB or 128 GB SSD. The varirà also KNOW, Android or Windows based on the decision of individual schools. With regard to the integrated software are, the e-reader to Kno and LabCam Suite, which will use the camera as a microscope, through a lens sold separately (see Gallery).
