There are a lot of tools that allow us to read news and keep abreast of what is happening to our around in Android. However, there is one catch: we always have to be alert to those applications and different updates to be able to learn the latest. To resolve this issue, Javi Moya, author of why you not shut up, brings us Last minute.
Last minute is not a newsreader to Google Reader style but an application that We will notify through push notifications (i.e., that the news will automatically appear us in the taskbar) of the most recent news articles. Yesterday for example I send alerts from the victory of Djokovic or the rise of taxes in France.
When you install the application we have an option that allows us to configure How many news we receive to the day. Depending on the relevance and the means we can adjust the scale that suits us. That does not mean that every day we will receive ‘x’ news as there will be days in which there will be no particularly relevant news.
The design of the application is very simple and works perfectly. In addition, when running with push notifications battery consumption will not affect just in the autonomy of our device.
The application is free, It has no advertising and I personally think it is an essential app for all those who want to keep abreast of what is happening without having to be cooling RSS readers, by opening multiple web pages or by referring to social networks like Facebook or Twitter every five minutes.
